Conferencia sobre los derechos sociales fundamentales y el desplazamiento de trabajadores en el marco del mercado único.

The Conference will discuss:

• 1) the exercise of fundamental social rights in cross-border situations.
• 2) the implementation of the Posting of Workers Directive 96/71
• The afternoon of the first day will be devoted to the balance between fundamental social rights and economic freedoms, including political level key speeches and a panel gathering social partners and representatives of international organisations.
  The second day will cover the implementation of the posting of workers Directive and the presentation, by the authors, of the results of three recent studies launched by the Commission in 2010.
• The event will include four simultaneous workshops covering:
  Posting of workers – regulatory aspects
  Social and economic impact of the posting of workers
  Administrative cooperation
  Enforcement aspects

The conference will gather about 250 participants and speakers representing governments and national administrations from EU and EFTA/EEA countries, social partners at EU and national level, EU institutions and international organisations as well as academics and researchers.
